The year was 1998 and collective ORFI a.k.a. Organization for returning fashion interest puts up its first Fall Winter '99 fashion presentation at Deitch Projects in New York City. I was part of the collective and we were all curious about exploring raw art and translating that to clothing. Events of our daily lives were naturally lent to the designs - music, the city, other jobs and projects. Furtively we crawled our way through, invigorated by our surroundings.
